The tendency
It surprises people that a sign ruled by Venus produces cunning chess players, but some Libras plan the entire game in advance. They may look relaxed and laid back and still be ruthless, quietly dismantling a defense and positioning their own pieces for maximum impact.
The standing challenge is indecision, in chess as in everything else. Opponents often find themselves guiding a Libra through their own game because the player cannot settle on a move. The desire for balance can be deceptive, since chess is also where the pent up aggression goes.
The Libra chess life
Libra players typically start around age seventeen and continue for about eighteen years. They prefer a fast game and are strongest in the middle game. Chess clubs get joined for the social side more than the chess, and postal chess is rarely played.
Pieces Libra favors and fears
They favor the queen and knight, and the knight often becomes the piece of choice. They fear losing their own pieces and being outmatched.
How to play against a Libra
Play on the indecision. Force them to abandon their prepared plan and contemplate a new plan of attack, which is where the hesitation costs them. Do not read the relaxed manner as harmless. Not every Libra is timid, and the offensive ones trade and sacrifice with ease.
