How AstroChess came about

The book started with game records rather than with astrology. Analyzing past games on ChessCube and other platforms turned up patterns in which pieces players reached for, how they opened, and how they behaved once a position stopped being comfortable. Sorting those patterns by sign produced twelve profiles consistent enough to be useful at the board.

What the book argues is practical. If you can read the person across from you, you can make them play your game instead of theirs.

The pawn is underestimated, patient, and humble, and it is the only piece on the board that can become something else entirely.

The book that came out of the games.

AstroChess walks through all twelve signs, the habits each one brings to the board, and how to work with your temperament instead of against it.
